ART OF WELLNESS: WHAT IS HEALING?

I believe “Healing” is the act or process of regaining health and wellbeing in all aspects of life – mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual. It is essentially a decision to think better thoughts and then act upon those thoughts. So, in effect this is true for everyone as we all have areas we can always improve upon. It sounds simple, but often that is not the case. Healing actually is recalibrating our brain to move towards what is best for us. I am convinced that Self-Healing stems from a space of positivity and not negativity.

A positive desire to improve upon oneself, one’s situation and the current state one is in, is the starting point of HEALING.

Life is all about growth and the day you decide on self-improvement, self-empowerment, and self-reliance, you embark on the journey of self-healing, self-discovery, and wellness.

So how do we start HEALING?

Initially, healing is about RECOGNITION. Recognition, both internally and externally, of self, that there are “issues” that need to be handled.

If you consistently experience red-light feelings such as anxiety, pain, confusion, hurt, imbalance, anger, feeling stuck, lethargic, irritable, bored, helpless, feeling like a victim, resentful, rejected, you need to start your journey into healing.

It is important to know that these feelings essentially stem from past events (childhood memories, generational legacy, and historical trauma). One must understand that all these feelings are being triggered in you to teach you important life lessons. Once we understand this important fact, we can liberate ourselves by adopting holistic energy healing tools in our lives. These tools heal us and change our deep rooted self-sabotaging beliefs and set us free to achieve anything we desire.

In a world that is governed and motivated by performance, money, stress, comfort, complexities, and anxiety, it does become a little difficult to chart out one’s unique path. This is where healing and the role of energy healing techniques come in. In order to become a “WHOLE” person, balanced, thriving and aligned with one’s values, you need to build on emotional and mental resilience. You need to put together the broken bits of your life, so that you become WHOLE again. Of course, you need to keep strengthening your positive attributes too. You need to create new beliefs that serve you in your highest interest.

What is Energy Healing?

We as human beings are a dynamic field of energy and human experiences. Modern medicine is also acknowledging and accepting this fact. Our levels of energy dictate our moods, health, and well-being.

Energy flows through our body at all times. The moment there is a disruption in the energy flow due to trauma, accident, or any untoward occurrence, one experiences illness, pain, suffering, “red” flag emotions such as anger, rejection, stress, anxiety etc. The goal of energy healing therapy is to unblock the flow of energy and restore energetic balance. A holistic healer/therapist provides guidance and tools to take you to this place.

Energy Healing Techniques

Through some of the techniques mentioned above, our energy bodies can be altered to provide higher states of health, consciousness and, you guessed it, energy. Once we are in a higher state of awareness, we adopt positivity in all aspects of our lives and learn, heal, and transform our lives.

The positive and uplifting effects of these energy healing modalities are undeniable. Once you have tried energy healing techniques, you can choose the techniques that connect best with you and adopt them in your life. These will be a “friend” to you at all times and lead you on a path to healing and sustained health. I have found from my own experience, that when you don’t have answers to your queries, health issues, or any emotional or psychological issues bothering you and nowhere to go, learning healing modalities helps immensely. The choice is yours.

Healing, frees you from all the shackles that you have created for yourself, coming in your own way of wellbeing and growth.

It helps you step up, get proactive and create the change you want to see in yourself.

Healing helps you get over your shortcomings and become the person you want to become.

I have been on this path for long and can say with certainty that adopting techniques as mentioned above have enhanced my life, leading me on a path of happiness, joy, focus and purpose.
