Editorial Board

The Unhurry® Editorial Board consists of extremely senior and esteemed leaders in the field of contributing to the strategy, ideas and different perspectives to help us create the right content and direction for mental health. We are very grateful to them to spare time for the cause of spreading dissemination of information on mental health to help others.

SUNALINI MATHEW is a journalist who has worked across publications such as The Hindu, Reader’s Digest, Women’s Health, Prevention, and Child, with by lines in Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, and Good Housekeeping. She has experience in editing, writing, public relations, events, social media, and social sector communication. Having worked extensively with international publications, she has delivered content based on brand guidelines and style sheets. At The Hindu, she introduced a series of mental health stories from a user-survivor perspective to benefit those going through similar experiences and to raise awareness about mental health conditions.

SANGEETA RELAN is an Associate Professor who has been teaching at Delhi University for the last three decades. Her expertise includes Finance, Economics Management, Insurance and Corporate Governance. She also runs an E-Magazine for women called AboutHer, where she writes about women’s issues and challenges, covering their interests and passions. She is passionate about DEI and is pursuing her PhD from the Delhi School of Economics in Corporate Governance and Gender Diversity. She was awarded the Nishtha Service Award by her college in appreciation for 25 years of dedication and outstanding service to the institution. A lover of the handlooms, she is set to come out with her first book.

DR RITA CHATTERJEE is an MBBS, DPM & WBUHS. She is a developmental psychiatrist with special interest in children with autism and other behavioural disorders. She has been working with a multidisciplinary team at the Neurodevelopment clinic, SSKM Hospital Kolkata for the past 14 years. She is focused on giving back with her experience for the cause of mental health.

VIJAY NALLAWALA is an Author and Founder, Bipolarindia. A Commerce Graduate majoring in Financial Accountancy, he was previously an entrepreneur for over three decades. His own experience with bipolar disorder became the inspiration for him to extend outreach to the community. Founded by him in May 2013, Bipolarindia is a unique peer led peer support community using a unique online-offline hybrid model. Vijay penned down his journey of recovery and his Book, A Bipolar’s Journey: From Torment to Fulfilment was published globally in 2015. He is Co-Founder & Managing Trustee of Mental Health Support Foundation under which are its key initiatives, Bipolarindia and Let’s Walk Together, an initiative dedicated to providing livelihoods for persons with mental health conditions. Vijay has been invited as speaker at important Seminars and Conferences on Mental Health and has participated in numerous Webinars, Podcasts and Video films.

DR MIHIR MAHER is practicing physiotherapist since 2006. He works with patients for orthopeadic, neurological conditions and sports injuries.
He is the President of Impulse Mumbai, a volunteer based organization that helps LGBTQI+ community of Mumbai to create awareness for queer community about HIV/STIs, helps provide treatment for the same; awareness around mental health issues within LGBTQ+ community and substance usage. Dr Maher strongly believes that homophobia is the biggest turn off in humans. “I would like to make safe spaces for humans without any judgements and bigotry,” he says.
