Did I Make The Right Investment?

Note From the Editor

A woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river flowing. She goes where she will without pretence and arrives at her destination prepared to be herself and herself only.”-

It’s almost 90 days into the year and there’s something I’ve already invested in — conversations with the women in my life. I spoke to my friends and we agreed that you can never know somebody too well. And I take this statement in a positive light. There’s something so surprising in learning new things about even the people in your inner most circle. It keeps the fun in relationships alive. Whether it was long conversations on a flight with my mom or sitting at a café for hours sharing personal anecdotes with my girlfriends. Deeply understanding and celebrating womanhood has been an organic development, one that I’m proud of. Sharing experiences has made me realise even more about the diversity in women and their thought processes. We dream, we work, we care, we learn, we overthink, we laugh, we fight, we love and yet in the process, we forget to self-nurture. An aspect so important to our productivity, mental and physical health that research has also shown that good sleep can increase women’s work ambitions.

March also marks Autoimmune Awareness Month. A condition where the majority of the people affected are women. Autoimmune diseases occur when your immune system attacks itself. And the trigger for it? Always emotional. A subject very close to our hearts, since we have worked with autoimmune patients, are running an autoimmune community under our foundation and spreading awareness on the impact of an autoimmune condition on mental health. There are more than 100 AI conditions1and approximately 78% of autoimmune patients are women.2

In a month where we celebrate women and spread much-needed information about the daily impact of Autoimmune conditions, comes a book from a woman, an autoimmune warrior sharing her story, the details of her health crash from the corporate world and emotional incidents that triggered her Rheumatoid Arthritis (an AI condition). Healing Autoimmune Conditions written by Dr. Rachna Chhachhi provides 6 steps to trigger epigenetic healing, which has the ability to keep the autoimmune gene off, repair the immune system and reduce inflammation. Accounts from fellow warriors and recipes aren’t to be missed. Order your copy now – click here.

In addition to this book launch, we launched the warrior merchandise, which resonates with each one of us. “Slow mornings,” “I am kind to me,” should be for everyone who wants to heal.  Click here to order the merch. To all the warriors and non-warriors (especially women) – you can utilise parts of the book to heal your immune system. It will help you overcome fatigue, frequent infections, poor sleep, skin pigmentation, hormonal fluctuations and gut issues.

Prioritizing yourself is key. Don’t let a diagnosis do it for you.
Happy Women’s Day Everyday!

Warmly,
